There's no 3 wood in this range, and that's a sensible place to start. The women's Max fairway opens at a 16.5 degree 3HL and then steps up to 18, then 21, then 24, all right-handed, all built to C5 with lengths from 42 inches down to 40. Getting the ball airborne is the priority throughout. The biggest head measures 190cc and carries a maraging steel face of the C300 grade inside a multi-material shell.

Aldila's NV Ladies 45 carries the build in ladies flex, topped with a Lamkin Ladies Sonar, 38 grams of it. Nothing on the club adjusts. The hosel is fixed and so is the weighting, which keeps the head light and the fitting simple. Four lofts covering nearly eight degrees of gap is a lot of ground for one model, and for many players two of them will do more work than a long iron ever did.
