TaylorMade SIM2 Driver

The bare SIM2 sits at the players' end of TaylorMade's 2021 driver family, with the tightest loft range and the heaviest stock shafts of the three. Its 460cc shell is a real mix of materials: a milled 9-1-1 titanium cup face bonded into a graphite composite crown and sole, tied together by a forged aluminium ring with a 16 gram steel weight at the back. That weight is fixed, so the head's bias is what it is. Loft is the part you can move, through a 4 degree sleeve.

Stock shafts run heavy for the category. The Tensei AV Raw Blue 60 covers regular through X flex, and the HZRDUS Smoke RDX Black 70 sits under it for anyone chasing a flatter flight. Lofts run 8 through 10.5 with a 9 between, and the 8 is built right-handed only. If you want more help on off-centre strikes, the Max is the sibling to try, and the Max D goes further with draw bias.
