About this club

Two lofts and two flexes tell you everything. The UDI came at 18 and 20 degrees on a shaft offered only in stiff and X, which makes it a driving iron for a player with real speed and not a long iron substitute for everyone else. Inside is a hollow 450 stainless body filled with light urethane foam, fronted by forged C300 maraging steel.

The shape agrees with the spec: straighter leading edge, thin sole, minimal offset, nothing about it apologising for being an iron. That Diamana Thump weighs 90 grams in stiff and 100 in X, heavy for anything living at the top of a bag. The bonded hosel bends two degrees either way for loft and lie. For a larger head and a much wider spread of flexes, the DHY is the companion club.
