About this club

Draw bias, permanent and internal, is what separates the Max D from its siblings. TaylorMade set the mass toward the heel at the factory and left you nothing to adjust afterwards, so the face arrives squarer on every swing with no input required. The shell is the 460cc build used across this line: 6-4 titanium forms the face, 9-1-1 titanium the chassis, graphite composite the crown and sole.

A single stock shaft covers the model and it is the lightest offered anywhere in the family. UST Mamiya's Helium 5 handles regular and stiff while a Helium 4 takes senior, which tells you plainly who this was made for. Heads come at 9, at 10.5 and at 12 degrees, the largest right-hand only, with a two degree sleeve fitted. Prefer more weight in your hands? Take the Max.
