TaylorMade SIM Driver

The sliding weight is the whole story. SIM is the only driver TaylorMade built in 2020 with movable mass, a single weight riding a track across the sole that locks wherever you leave it and swings the shot shape roughly 20 yards from one end to the other. Everything else about the 460cc shell follows the family: 6-4 titanium up front, 9-1-1 titanium behind it, graphite composite over crown and sole alike.

Loft stops at three heads. You get 8 degrees, 9 and 10.5, with the smallest built right-handed only, and a sleeve worth two degrees above them for anything the track cannot reach. Both stock shafts sit heavy for a driver, a Diamana S Limited 60 spanning regular to X and an HZRDUS Smoke Green 70 for a firmer, flatter profile. If the track sounds like more tinkering than you want, the Max is next in line.
