Ping G400 SFT Driver

Golfers who fight a slice get two lofts here, 10 and 12 degrees, and the 12 is the highest-lofted G400 driver Ping built. That pairing is deliberate. Extra loft raises launch and cuts sidespin at the same time, so a draw-biased head with a lofted option does two useful things at once for the same player.

At 445cc it shares the compact, low-drag shape the whole 2017 line was built around, along with the cast titanium crown and forged T9S+ face. Loft and lie come off the hosel, and the rear weight unscrews for swing-weight work. Both hands. Slice correction was still slightly unfashionable when this came out, and Ping deserves some credit for treating it as ordinary fitting, not an admission.
