About this club

No adjustable hosel here, and that single fact is the most reliable way to date a Ping hybrid of this era. The G400 and the G410 that followed share a maraging face, a similar profile and the same Alta CB 70 shaft family, so a spec sheet with an adjustability column showing a dash is a G400 every time.

Five lofts, 17 through 30 degrees, on a cast 17-4 stainless body with a C300 maraging steel face and a thin 0.48 millimetre crown. What you can change is swing weight, via a rear weight that unscrews. Both dexterities, on two graphite profiles. Ping published no head volume for this one and never has for any hybrid of the period, so the spec sheet has a gap where the drivers and fairways carry a number. Straightforward, and none the worse for it.
