About this club

Nineteen, twenty-two and twenty-five degrees is the weakest Crossover card Ping ever built, and it makes this the easiest one to place in a bag: at 25 degrees the shortest head overlaps a 5-iron instead of replacing a 3. Later generations moved steadily stronger, so a 25 degree Crossover can only be a G400.

It is also the only Crossover in the range with a named steel shaft option, the AWT 2.0, alongside two graphite profiles. That fits a golfer coming out of an iron set who wants the same feel underneath. C300 maraging steel up front, a cast hollow stainless body behind, four flexes, right and left handed. Ping stopped naming a steel option on the Crossover after this generation, which quietly narrowed who the club was for.
