Ben Hogan PTx Pro Irons

PTx Pro is where Hogan put their three piece forging to work. A soft body in 1025 carbon steel, a forged MS300 face, and then different metals hidden inside depending where you are in the set. Long irons carry co-forged tungsten low in the head. Short irons swap it for lightweight titanium, pushing mass toward the face and keeping flight down where a scoring iron should finish.

As standard it is seven clubs, a 4 iron down to pitching wedge, the 7 sitting at 34 degrees. Steel runs to KBS Tour Lite or Dynamic Gold 105, and graphite means UST Recoil at three weights for anyone chasing a lighter build. Right handers only. Set against the Icon blade this is the more playable of the two, and the combo set exists precisely because plenty of good players want a bit of both.
