TaylorMade M4 Combo Irons

Unusually for a package set, the two halves take different shafts. KBS Max 85 steel goes into the irons and Fujikura Atmos Red graphite into the rescues, which keeps the hybrid slots easy to launch without making the scoring clubs feel loose. Seven clubs make it up: the 22 degree and 25 degree rescue heads, then five irons running 25, 28.5, 33, 38 and 43.5 degrees.

Hybrid length sits well past iron length, 40.25 inches at the top slot and 39.75 at the second, so the front of this set behaves more like a small fairway wood family than a run of long irons. The same three flexes, senior through to stiff, serve both halves, and one grip covers the lot, the Dual Feel at 46.5 grams. Right and left handed builds exist. The set suits someone who likes the M4's lofts but keeps thinning everything above a six iron.
