About this club

Where the standard 2017 M2 fairway went large, the Tour version pulled back. Two heads, both right handed, both 43.25 inches: 156cc at 15 degrees and 158 at 16.5, against 175 and 177 on the regular model. That reduction of about eleven percent is the entire point of the Tour badge. Smaller footprint, tighter shape, less help on a miss and more say over where the ball starts.

The shaft list agrees with the head. Mitsubishi's Kuro Kage TiNi 70 comes in regular, stiff and X, and nothing softer was built, while the grip is the corded Lamkin UTx from the M1 in place of the softer one fitted to the standard M2. Neither loft nor bias is adjustable here. It's a narrow club for a narrow player. Golfers who want the extra lofts, a left handed option or a bigger shape behind the ball should stay with the standard M2.
