About this club

Low profile at address, a stepped crown, and a hosel both shortened and fluted to take weight out of it. Three details pointing one way, which is a centre of gravity sitting as low as the shape allows. Four multi-material heads follow, at 19 degrees, then 22, 25 and 28.

Put the M1 rescue next to it and the split is hardware. That club takes a loft sleeve and a sliding sole weight; this one takes neither, so the fitting question is loft and shaft weight and nothing else. The stiff build carries a Reax 75, with the 65 at regular and the 55 covering senior, under a ribbed Dual Feel grip at 47 grams. At the 3 and the 4 both hands are built, leaving the 5 and the 6 to right-handers. It is the simpler club of the pair, and the one more golfers should be playing.
