TaylorMade 2016 M2 Fairway Wood

Nothing on the 2016 M2 moves. There's no sleeve and no weight track, just a head that arrives finished and stays that way, which is the fastest way to tell it from the M1 it shared a shelf with. What the M2 sells instead is reach. A 3 wood at 15 degrees, a 3HL at 16.5, then 18, 21 and 24 for the rest, which is nine degrees of coverage inside a single model.

Head sizes tail off down that ladder, 156cc in the two strongest builds and 133 by the time you reach the last one, all under a carbon composite crown on a multi material body. TaylorMade's own Reax shafting handles the range, 65 grams of it for X, stiff and regular, then a lighter 55 in the mid flex, finished by the ribbed Arrow grip, 46.5 grams. Left handed heads are limited to the strongest two. The M1 covers similar ground with three heads and a wrench.
