The lightest build Ping makes, on the biggest head Ping makes. The G440 SFT HL puts a 35 or 45 gram Alta Quick and a Lamkin UTx Lite behind 193cc of draw-biased multi-material head, in 16, 19 and 22 degrees, with light flex as the only option.

Everything is pulling one way: more size, more bias, less weight, all aimed at getting the ball airborne and turning it away from the right side. The hosel still adjusts. The weighting does not, which is the standard HL trade. For a golfer whose fairway woods currently do neither of the two things fairway woods are meant to do, this is the most help in the range.
