Ping G440 HL Hybrid

The HL drops the 17 degree head and everything above light flex. What remains is five lofts, 20 through 34 degrees, on a 120cc multi-material head, with an Alta Quick in 35 or 45 grams and a Lamkin UTx Lite making up the entire build sheet.

The hosel still turns for loft and lie, and the sole is fixed as it is on the standard G440. Ten grams is the whole fitting. That sounds restrictive until you consider who it serves: a golfer whose problem is clubhead speed, for whom the right answer is nearly always the lightest available build in a loft high enough to get the ball airborne.
