Ping G440 Irons

Ping's G series is the benchmark other game improvement irons get measured against, and the G440 holds the line. Cast 17-4 stainless, 29 degree 7-iron, eight clubs from the 4-iron through a matched gap wedge. Both hands are stocked. The HL version of the same head drops to light flex with 35 or 45 gram Alta Quick shafts for golfers who need less weight. Below it in the range, the G730 and G740 go to 28 degrees with more forgiveness again. This is the middle of the Ping ladder and it's a comfortable place to be.
