Forged from HT1770 steel, the 2020 845 FORGED Irons are the players distance option in Tommy Armour's range, aimed at golfers who find the middle often and want the club to tell them when they don't. Forging is why the feel is soft and quiet through impact. The shaping stays compact behind the ball while its seven iron, at 30 degrees, keeps the set firmly in the modern distance conversation.

Eight clubs make up the standard set, 4 iron through to the gap wedge, which covers plenty of ground before you add specialist wedges. True Temper's Elevate 95 sits at the lighter end of steel, and the Golf Pride MultiCompound grip is the one nod to comfort. The standard 845 Irons start at the 5 and carry a 29 degree seven that is stronger again, so choose those for easier distance. This set rewards a good strike.
