This is the full-size Spider head with an L-neck. High MOI gives stability on a strike that misses the middle and the L-neck gives slight toe hang, so a small arc in the stroke is fine. Both hands are built here, which the mallet-sized F version doesn't offer. Three lengths, torched PVD, Pure Roll insert.

Spider is the name TaylorMade has used on its large mallets for a long time, and it's recognisable enough now that golfers pick it out on television. What sits behind the face matters more. A high-MOI head resists twisting when the strike is off centre, which on a putt shows up as a ball that still finishes near the hole rather than four feet short and left. Slight hang keeps the head honest through the stroke.
