TaylorMade Spider Tour F L-Neck Putter

An L-neck is what TaylorMade calls a hosel that turns square out of the head and square again into the shaft, making an L when you look at it side on, and that's exactly where the name comes from. On the F mallet it produces slight toe hang, which is a little rotation rather than none. Three lengths, torched PVD, right hand only.

Grooves in the Pure Roll insert are cut at 45 degrees, which is a steeper angle than most brands use and the reason TaylorMade claims a faster start to the roll. Whether it does is not something a spec sheet can settle. What is true is that the insert here is a white TPU blend of surlyn and aluminium, soft enough to quiet the strike without killing it, and it's fitted across the whole Spider Tour line rather than only on the expensive builds.
