TaylorMade Qi35 Max Lite Driver

Over 35 grams have come out of this build compared with the Qi35 Max, and the whole club is arranged around that one decision. The Max Lite drops five swingweight points, D5 down to D0, pairing a lighter 24 gram back weight with a 43 gram Z-Grip and Mitsubishi's Vanquish 4. It's aimed at golfers chasing clubhead speed, not at golfers who already have it.

Less is on the menu, too. Lofts start at 10.5 and stop at 12, both hands, with stock flexes running senior and regular only, so the fitting conversation stays brief by design. Because a slower swing has less margin for a face angle that's wrong at address, the adjustable hosel matters more here than it does further up the family. A white ring around the sole marks it out from its siblings.
