Forty-nine, 54 and 59 degrees is an odd-looking set of numbers until you remember what modern irons are lofted at. The Qi Max wedges are spaced to gap against a strong-lofted set rather than a traditional one, which is why none of them lands on a round figure.

The head is cast from 17-4 stainless steel, right-handed only. Four shafts are stocked, KBS's Max 85 MT alongside REAX builds at 75, 65 and 55 grams, in senior, regular or stiff, beneath a Lamkin Crossline 360. That shaft ladder is the giveaway. These are wedges sold as part of a set rather than fitted individually, and they are weighted to match the irons above them.
