Qi Max carries TaylorMade's game improvement work for 2026 and does it with a 28 degree 7-iron. Construction is multi-material, and the set runs 5-PW, six clubs, in either hand. KBS Max 85 MT is the stock steel and the REAX by KBS handles graphite, in flexes from senior to X-stiff. SuperStroke's Crossline 360 Black is the grip.

Starting at the 5-iron has become normal in this category and it's the right call. Anyone buying into this much forgiveness is better served by a hybrid above it, and the strong lofts mean the 5-iron already goes a long way. An HL version sits alongside at 31 degrees with lighter shafts for slower swings. Between them the pair covers a lot of ground.
