TaylorMade Qi Max HL Irons

HL is TaylorMade's high launch build and the Qi Max version pairs a 31 degree 7-iron with genuinely light components. KBS MAX Lite covers steel at 83 grams and the REAX HL by KBS covers graphite at 50, with flexes running ladies, senior and regular and nothing stiffer than that anywhere on the menu. The face is 4140M Chromoly in a multi-material head, and the set is a six club 5-PW in both hands. SuperStroke's Crossline Lite 360 is the grip.

Three degrees weaker than the standard Qi Max is a big step inside one family. It's also the right one for anyone whose iron shots are landing flat and running out. Light shafts and generous loft push the same direction rather than fighting each other. Strong players should take the standard Max instead and keep the yardage.
