About this club

Takomo launched with the 101 and it set the pattern for everything since, from the cast heads to the two shaft menu and the direct to consumer model. This one uses 431 stainless with a 30 degree 7-iron, sold 4-PW in both hands. KBS Tour and KBS Tour Lite are the only options, in regular, stiff or X-stiff, under a Lamkin Crossline grip.

Two shafts is spartan next to what the big manufacturers offer. It's a deliberate narrowing rather than an oversight, and for a lot of golfers the KBS pair covers the ground that matters. An MKII version arrived for 2026 with a 17-4 stainless face and a degree stronger at 29. The original is the softer choice.
