Forty-six to forty-eight inches puts the Oslo L firmly in broomstick territory, and the half-inch increments between builds show that Ping treats the category as something to fit properly rather than an afterthought. The head is a milled 303 stainless mallet, centre-shafted and face-balanced, in black. A two-piece Winn grip covers the long handle and the shaft is stepped rather than stepless.

Long putters survived the anchoring ban because the length itself does most of the work. Holding the top hand steady near the sternum without touching the body still removes a great deal of wrist action. Centre-shafting helps here. Both hands are built, which almost no broomstick offers.
