About this club

A face-balanced blade is a rarer thing than it sounds. Because the neck usually puts the shaft axis inside the head, most blades hang toe-down, and golfers with straight strokes end up in mallets by default. Ping gets around that on the Kushin with a double bend, which brings the balance point back to square while leaving a compact 303 stainless blade sitting behind the ball. Satin finish, no insert.

It's the natural pair to the DS72 for anyone who wants that stroke fit but doesn't want a mallet. The grip is the larger PP58 Tour L, a size up from the midsize Ping uses elsewhere in the line and a sensible match for a stroke that wants the hands quiet. Chrome stepless steel shaft, 33 up to 36 inches, both hands.
