Ping G425 LST Fairway Wood

Smallest head in the G425 fairway range at 165cc, and the only one Ping built in a single loft. A 14.5 degree 3-wood is the whole product. Shrinking the head pulls the centre of gravity forward and down, which takes spin out and flattens the flight, and that is worth having only if you already generate enough speed to keep the ball up.

Facewrap construction is shared with the rest of the family, a maraging steel face folding into cast stainless with no welded seam across the strike area. The hosel opens up loft and lie tuning. Right and left handed, on the same seven-shaft menu as its siblings. Anyone hitting a 3-wood high and short should be looking at the MAX instead.
