About this club

At 450cc the LS is the compact head of the three, and its whole build follows from that. Honma pulls the centre of gravity shallow instead of deep, adds a 1.5 gram sole weight, and the result is the low spinning, strong flighted ball this end of a driver range usually exists to produce. Its material list is the only one here to carry an aluminium weight alongside the tungsten. Small change, deliberate one.

The rest tracks its stablemates closely: a cast Ti811 body, carbon through the head, a ZAT-158Ti press cup face, and the same sleeve, which sets lie and loft with the shaft left where it is. Lofts stop at two, a 9 and a 10.5. Vizard EZ-C is stock with four further profiles on request in either flex, under an M60 rubber grip. Anyone wanting size and forgiveness ahead of control should be looking at the Max.
