Honma TW767 Hybrid

Steel shafts are the surprise on this one. Honma's TW767 utility is the only wood in the family offering them, three profiles from Modus3 and Nippon sitting alongside the graphite Vizards, which quietly repositions it as a long iron replacement for players who want that feel underhand. Four heads run 18, 21, 24 and 27 degree, topping out at 139cc in the strongest.

Everything in the head is metal. A cast SUS630 stainless body takes a tungsten weight behind a CH175 maraging face, with no carbon anywhere, and nothing on the hosel or the sole is meant to be moved. That leaves loft and shaft as the whole conversation, which given the rack on offer is a longer one than most hybrids manage. Regular or stiff, right-handed only. The TW767 fairway picks up where the 18 degree head stops.
