Ben Hogan Fort Worth Grind Wedge

One sole, six lofts, no decisions to make. The Fort Worth Grind takes the Texas Grind shape from the Equalizer II and lowers its bounce profile, which is what Hogan mean when they call this a tweener between a full swing wedge and a touch club. Forged from soft carbon steel with the grooves machine cut after forging, it feels closer to an iron at impact than most wedges manage.

Bounce tracks loft in a way that makes sense on the course. Thirteen degrees in the 50 and 52, where you are usually taking a full swing. Fifteen in the 54 and 56 for sand and soft turf. Then back down to 12 in the 58 and 60, where the leading edge needs to sit close to the ground with the face open. Shafts are KBS Tour steel and nothing else, across three flexes. Right handers only, and two grips come as standard with neither one a default.
