Ben Hogan Fort Worth Combo Irons

Hogan sell the Fort Worth heads as a combo too, and the transition point is well chosen: cavity backs from the 7 iron up, muscle backs in the 8, 9 and pitching wedge. Both halves are forged 1025C carbon steel and both carry the line's ceramic matrix composite core, so the only thing changing across the set is how much material sits behind the face. Long irons get help. Scoring clubs get out of the way.

Six clubs make the standard build, 5 down to pitching wedge, with a seven club version starting at the 4 also offered. Shafts differ from the standalone sets, Dynamic Gold covers the steel in three flexes, and a lighter build can go to UST Recoil graphite at any of three weights. Right handed sets only. For a good amateur it is the most sensible route into a Hogan blade, and the reason both parent sets sit alongside it.
