Ben Hogan Fort Worth CB Irons

Fort Worth CB is the cavity back half of Hogan's current players line, forged from 1025C carbon steel with a ceramic matrix composite core buried inside each head. CMC is neither a face material nor a shell. It is a light insert used to move the centre of mass around from club to club, sitting heavier and lower in the long irons and closer to neutral as the set shortens. The look stays clean throughout.

Sets run seven clubs deep and start at the 4 iron. The shaft list is short and sensible, three steel flexes of KBS Tour or a TGI graphite build in one of two weights, for right handers alone. This is a set for the good player who wants a little help on a strike off the toe without moving into a game improvement head. The MB beside it gives none at all, and the combo runs CB long irons into MB scoring clubs.
