Ben Hogan Equalizer II Wedge

Eight lofts from 48 through 62 in two degree steps is a wider card than most brands publish, and it makes the Equalizer II a wedge you can fit properly instead of picking the nearest number to your gap. Heads are forged from soft 1025 carbon steel with faces CNC milled afterwards, texture cut in between the grooves so partial shots still grab.

Two soles are offered. Standard is the everyday shape, and Texas Grind is the more relieved one for players who open the face and want the sole skidding, not digging, on firm turf. Finish is one of two, plain nickel chrome or a Diamond Black Metal, the darker one worth having if low sun glare bothers you at address. Nothing ships prebuilt, so shaft and grip are chosen at the counter, and the flex options reach from ladies all the way to X-stiff. The current Fort Worth Grind wedge was developed out of this sole.
