About this club

Royal Edition sits at the top of the Prime range, and the driver is where that shows most plainly. Lofts are 9.5 and 10.5 degrees, a degree stronger at each end than the mainline Prime driver, which says the head is meant for a player who still gets the ball up without help. The head measures 460cc.

One flex only. Regular is all XXIO builds the SP-1300K shaft in, and the fitting stops about there: no adjustable hosel, no movable weight, no left-handed build. That narrowness is the trade for how light the finished club comes out. A golfer who wants a weaker head or a firmer stick is better served by the standard Prime driver, which carries 11.5 degrees and adds Stiff.
