About this club

The stock build is seven clubs, running from the 5 iron to a sand wedge, and the 7 iron in the middle sits at 28 degrees. Every head takes a titanium face, Super-TIX 51AF, which is where the ball speed comes from when a golfer has none to spare. Behind it is cast SUS630, with tungsten-nickel weighting added in the three longest irons.

These sit deep in the super game improvement category, and the shaping does not hide it. Soles are wide, heads are deep, and the set is shafted with MP-1300 graphite, Regular or Stiff. Both hands are stocked. If the 5 iron proves hard to launch, the 23 degree hybrid in this family covers nearly the same yardage from a friendlier shape.
