XXIO 13 Fairway Wood

Somebody at XXIO thinks hard about gapping, and the 16.5 degree 4 wood is the proof. The range covers 15, 16.5, 18, 20 and 23 degrees across five heads, tighter spacing than most brands build, and head size drops from 186cc to 135cc as loft goes up, leaving the short end noticeably more compact.

Every head is cast, HT1770M over maraging steel, with no adjustability built in. Two flexes are cut for the MP-1300 graphite. A left-handed version exists for three of the five heads, the 3 wood plus the 5 and 7, while the 4 and the 9 are right-handed only. For a golfer retiring a long iron, the 20 degree head is the natural first swap, since it flies from turf the way an iron is supposed to and lands like a wood.
