A double bend neck and a face-balanced head put the Impact No. 4 squarely in straight-back-straight-through territory. There's no insert. The face is milled, which is where the roll and the sound come from on a putter at this price, and the finish is black throughout.

A jumbo Super Stroke Pistol GT Tour 1.0 comes fitted, which is a real grip and not a filler. Standard lengths are 34 and 35 inches, right or left handed. Golfers who want more weight behind the stroke should look at the No. 4 CB, which runs longer at 35 and 38 inches with counterbalancing and is right handed only. Arc putters are better served by something with toe hang; this one wants a stroke that stays square.
