About this club

TaylorMade sold this club under two names in one product cycle, first as a women's build listed inside the HD paperwork and then on its own sheet with a metallic finish. Underneath the naming it never changed: the same high-draw head, the same 460cc carbon-faced construction, the same 43.75 inch build.

Aldila's Ascent Ladies 45 carries it, in ladies flex only, beneath a Sonar grip of 38 grams. Both heads come right-handed, a 10.5 alongside a 12. Draw bias is designed in and the rear weight is fixed, which leaves the hosel sleeve as the single adjustment available. For a golfer who wants the miss taken out of the equation without taking on a heavy club, that combination is the point.
