About this club

An Off-Axis grip comes fitted here and it appears nowhere else in the Spider range. The shape is deliberately asymmetric rather than round, which gives the hands a fixed reference for where the face is pointing, so you don't have to look down to find it. Max marks the larger of the two ZT head sizes, at 33 to 35 inches in black or gunmetal, both hands.

Grip shape does more work than most golfers credit it with. A putter grip is the only part of the club you touch, and anything that helps the hands find the same position twice is worth more on a green than on any other shot in golf. Geometry here is a double bend hosel under a high-MOI head, balancing face up, with a Pure Roll insert and a 120 gram steel shaft. It's the plain build of the Max.
