About this club

The PDHY fills the slot where a hybrid feels like too much club and a long iron like too little help. It pairs a Chromoly face with a multi-material body in a players-distance profile, and the 18, 20 and 22 degree loft run maps straight onto the top of the bag. TaylorMade stocks it with graphite only, UST Mamiya's Recoil Dart in three flexes up to X-stiff; there's no stock steel offering, which tells you the build is biased toward launch.

Its sibling, the PUDI, carries the sharper intent: a straight players profile that swaps the 18 degree head for a 17. Between them the choice is honest. Take the PUDI for the lower, flatter of the two flights, and the PDHY when you'd rather the utility actually rescue you. Both come left-handed as well.
