About this club

A carbon panel on the heel is the detail that sets the 859 Pro apart, sitting under a carbon fibre crown on a 450cc head with a 6-4 Beta Ti face. Weighting it that way keeps the face working open, so the shape is a fade by design.

Two lofts are on offer, 9 and 10.5 degrees, with Project X's Denali Blue 60 the only stock shaft, in regular, stiff or X-stiff. Right-handed golfers only. Adjustment survives at hosel and sole weight, which means the built-in bias is a starting point and not a verdict. Anyone wanting the same family in a bigger head, with a 12.5 degree option and a left-handed build, has the standard 859; the JD narrows further still, to one 8 degree head.
