About this club

Mini describes the footprint and Z describes the geometry, so the 009Z is the compact mallet in Sub 70's zero torque group. Nothing in the head levers the face open, which leaves pace as the main thing to manage over a putt. Milled from 1045 carbon steel. Black, one length, both hands.

Small mallets are the shape a lot of golfers settle on once they stop caring what a putter is supposed to look like, and adding torque-free geometry underneath makes it a very forgiving package. A standard Sycamore 009 Mini exists with conventional face-balanced geometry for comparison. The difference is that one resists rotating and the other has no reason to.
