About this club

Sub 70's Z Series does not use the plumber's, slant or flow neck language it uses everywhere else, because the hosel is a different thing entirely. The company calls it a true zero torque design, developed with an outside designer, and declines to map it onto conventional neck names. On the 001Z that geometry sits under a blade head, milled from 1045 carbon steel. Black, one length, both hands.

A blade with nothing levering the face open is the hardest version of this idea to build, since a blade's whole shape works against it. What it gives a golfer is the compact look with none of the face control a blade normally demands. The 005Z is the wider version and the 009Z is the mallet.
