PXG Wildcat Fairway

One head, 19 degrees, and a flex card running all the way from ladies to X-stiff. The Wildcat fairway makes an unusual offer: no loft decision at all, but a shaft and flex choice as wide as anything PXG lists, between Project X's Cypher 2.0 and a 40 gram Denali Frost Red.

Construction is cast, with an HT1770 maraging steel face, and both hands are built. Nineteen degrees is a 5-wood in most bags, which makes this a single-purpose club aimed at the slot where a lot of golfers are least well served, caught between a 3-wood they cannot launch and a hybrid they have never trusted. Choosing it is really a decision about the shaft, and PXG has left that decision wide open.
