About this club

At the light end of PXG's Lightning range sits the Max Lite, stocked one way only: the 40 gram Project X Cypher 2.0 in senior flex. Lofts are 10.5 and 11.5 degrees, and that half-step at the top is the tell. This head is meant to launch.

Everything else is standard Lightning, a 460cc multi-material build with a titanium face and an adjustable hosel to fine-tune loft and lie once a fitting starts. What it asks of you in swing speed is almost nothing, and what it hands back is height. Golfers comfortable in a regular flex will be better served by the Max 10K+, which keeps the 12 degree head and opens the shaft list to three. For anyone still fighting the ball into the air, this is the simpler answer.
