About this club

There's no stock shaft to report on the 0311P, because PXG doesn't build these off a rack. Every set is made to order, with the shaft and grip chosen at purchase and a flex menu running ladies through X-stiff. The head itself is the middle of PXG's GEN 8 trio: a multi-material players-distance design with a maraging steel face and a 30 degree 7-iron, sold as a 4-PW run in either hand.

Steering inside the family is clean. Golfers wanting more help should look at the 0311XP, which strengthens the 7-iron to 27 degrees in a game-improvement shape, while the 0311T tightens things to 32 degrees for the players end of the spectrum. The P is the compromise position, and for a set you're speccing from scratch anyway, the compromise is usually right.
