PXG 0317 X Driving Iron

Two graphite shafts and nothing in steel makes the 0317 X's intent clear before the lofts do. Project X's HZRDUS Black Gen4 80 HY and a UST Mamiya Recoil Dart 75 are the stock options, in flexes running from ladies right up to X-stiff.

That flex range surprises. Lofts sit at 16, 18 and 20 degrees on a multi-material head with a maraging steel face, in a players profile, built in both hands under a Lamkin Z5. Sixteen degrees is a tee club for almost anybody. Offering it in ladies flex suggests PXG expects a wider set of players to want that shape than are usually offered a driving iron at all.
