About this club

Nike built the Vapor Fly as the more forgiving of its two 2016 drivers, and the stock shaft tells you who for: a 50 gram Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue, light enough to get the 460cc head moving without a fast swing. The crown is thin titanium, honeycombed underneath to strip out more weight still, and pulling mass off the top of a head is what lets it launch high without piling on loft. Weighting is fixed. Nothing to slide, nothing to get wrong.

Fitting happens at the hosel instead. FlexLoft 2 spans 8.5 through 12.5 degrees across three face angle settings, so a player fighting a slice and a player fighting low flight can both be sorted from one head. Left-handed builds were made, which isn't true of everything in this family. The Vapor Fly Pro is the one to look at if you'd rather have heavier 60 gram Diamana shafts and a tighter shape at address.
