Tungsten bonded into the long heads is what separates the Vx from the V, and it buys forgiveness without giving up the forging. Both come out of S20C soft carbon steel. Where they part is placement: the Vx puts weight where an off-centre strike needs it through the 3 to 8 irons and leaves the scoring clubs clean. The seven iron reads 30 degree, two clicks stronger than the V.
