Honma TW747 Fairway Wood

A 16 degree 3HL sits alongside the standard 15, which is Honma acknowledging that plenty of golfers hit a 3 wood better with a touch more loft on it. The ladder climbs from there to 21 degree, and the biggest head measures 183cc. Maraging stainless and a carbon crown make up that largest one; the smaller heads are all metal, so the material story changes as loft goes up.

Neither the hosel nor the weighting is adjustable. Honma screwed ballast into the sole and added internal mass instead, dragging the centre of gravity down and back, which is the whole launch argument for a wood played off the deck. Vizard for TW747 50 is the stock shaft, offered across all three flexes, and the FD and FP profiles can be ordered. Left-handed builds exist, in the 3 and 5 wood only.
